About the Painting – Gekko gecko
As a biology student, I've spent hours studying the anatomy of animals most people walk past without a second glance, and nothing stops me like an eye.
The Tokay gecko's iris is a marvel of evolutionary design: a vertical slit pupil surrounded by a labyrinth of gold and green, ringed by scales.
It was painted from a genuine fascination with the creatures we share this planet with, and I hope it draws you in scientifically or simply won't let you look away.
