About

I’m a Biology & English teacher and painter based in Austria. Having lived in Zambia, Uganda, and Austria, I’ve been shaped by the different cultures, environments, and experiences I’ve encountered along the way. These experiences continue to influence the way I see the world and, naturally, the way I create.

Alongside teaching, painting has always been an important part of my life. My artwork is inspired by nature, animals, and the details that often go unnoticed. I enjoy watching a painting develop from an initial sketch, through the underpainting and layers of colour, to the final details that bring it to life.

In many ways, I see something similar in teaching. At the beginning of a school year, every student starts from a different place, with their own strengths, ideas, and potential. Over time, through learning, encouragement, and experience, I get to see them develop, gain confidence, and discover what they are capable of. There is something incredibly rewarding about being part of that process.

My work has been shown in exhibitions, and I hope that whether a painting finds its place in a gallery or in someone’s home, it brings beauty, a sense of calm, and perhaps something a little deeper with it.
